I'm building a new PC on the cheap and want a half decent graphics card for next to no money.

I've been looking at the ATI HD 4650 1Gb. Is there anything else I should look at that's under £60.

I dont want mega performance just acceptable.

Bang for buck, the ATI HD range is pretty much the best you're going to find. The actual card within the HD range depends on how much you have to spend Smile

NVidia cards are arguably 'better', though they do tend to be more expensive. Personally I have a HD4870 and am very happy with it Smile

They are competively priced compared to the broad market out there, except sometimes you can find components else where cheaper but you have to look at who makes that product under license which can determine your choice too.

It's a little old, but I have a 512mb Gainward Nvidia 6800GS that is surplus to requirements now. I will never have a use for it.

Its a solid card, runs Oblivion on reasonable settings.

Probably not enough for what you need, but yours if you want it.
