Average age of BCF posters?

Just wondering what the average age of the posters is on BCF these days. It just seems shall we say a tad young (or is it just naivety).

I remember when this site was first created from the brain of an aspiring porn guru (who is never seen these days and for most won't even be known about) and even though he was young, created off the back of his growing porn empire a forum though small in numbers, that had a diversity of members that made for an excellent forum.

Maybe times have changed, maybe the world is full of sobbing, crying, little emotional retards that have had mummy and daddy do everything for them and are only now experiencing life and freedom for the first time after being wrapped in cotton wool thanks to a parental/governmental worry of the big bad world and all those dirty pedos out there. And as such have to use BCF as a substitute for real friends?
Maybe this emotional crutch which BCF offers is the result of the excellent work that was done by the founding father and old skool (Of which if you look closely you can still see the remains in the ironic and sceptical posts).

Or is it just the fact that we have a very large number of kids on the forum these days that simply out number the more worldly wise members?

Is there actually a point to this post? Probably not, but I am interested to know if we are looking at a majority of youngsters to us older members?

Maybe I just want the less worldly wise members to think about the drivel they are posting? Possibly even think to themselves:

"Will I get laughed at for my stupid post" (just because people are laughing doesn’t mean the post was funny!!!)

"or do I actually just need to go and grow a pair?!"

More like in the early days of the internet only the intelligent and geeky people joined forums and now the kids of the wasted generation where outdoor activities is alien to them can join and be annoying.

What do you class as old?

It does seem a very young forum base - I think that's shown in that since I've been here I seem to see a lot of "doing my CBT" or "which 125" type posts where the posters are of an age where a big bike isn't on their radar.

As far as emotional types go; there is a Dear Auntie BCF subforum after all. I'm shocked sometimes about what is discussed in there at times There's no way I'd let a bunch of strangers know what's happening in my life like that

I think, with the expensive world we live in, lots more young lads (and lasses) have scooters instead of cars, because they are cheaper. Which no doubt encorages younger people to sites like this.

This poll and this poll two years ago puts the majority age group around 20-25. Probably hasn't changed that much.

I remember when I use to not really post on here much, and when I did, it was for advice because everyone was pretty helpful and mature. Nowadays I post more because there are plenty of pricks on here (more importantly they are not ignored or put down) and I don't stand out.

It's not the age, but the attitude. The internet a hypobolised world indeed.
