So yeah was coming home the other day from work, down the main road that connects onto mine, it was raining quite heavily and i was going 30-40 ish.

I see a sign saying ramp, so i immediatley slow down to about 15-20, and carry on with caution.

However what i did not expect, was a 10 foot long hole in the road where roadworks were half done, and simple left, with the road split into two different levels of height, by the time i realised ( it was quite hard to see), the front wheel was on the "Upper" bit of the road and the back was on the "lower".

Simple threw me off.

Unlike the last off the bike was fine, just need a new lever and indicator, i already have a spare one thankfully.

Damage to me was a sore side, and torn Ligament in my knee.

Bad times lol, my bike is a death trap and hates me.

Confused There were no warning signs? Other than the ramp one, and more to the point, no cones, or lights?

Bloody hell,Don't let i pass. Go back there and take photos of the hole. Put something alongside as you take pictures(a ruler would be great) The council have a duty of care to keep that road safe. If it isn't your fault why should your wallet suffer?
What if another bike comes down that road?It needs to be reported.
