First off, can anyone recomment a dyno place around Herts. to get my carbs tuned, balanced etc for my race can.

Also, my idle is lumpey, which i know, would suggest the carbs need balanceing. The revs go from 1500 to 1200 like someone is switching them. Its not a gradual change...

Also my bike takes AGES to get to its proper idle speed. I even needed choke this morning (its bloody hot) to keep it alive. The only after 15mins proper riding did it set down to the 1.5k rpm idle speed.

Is that right? Its cbr400 gullarm. Its done a whole load of miles...

Anyway im gonna get a garage to sort it all out when i take it down to sort out the fueling for my race can. But though id rack your brains first...

So recommendations of dyno place please?

Thank you! Smile

Actually i kinda do know someone...

Right, i need to use one as well, I suppose if i get my carbs je-jetted i can balance them later, or rejet and balance at the same time. Hmmmmm not sure..

Anyway i "know" this guy off another forum who said he would help me do my carbs; he has guages, if i get to his house. He lives in letchworth. We could go ride down there together. Ill have to ask him first, but he was cool about it...

Hang on i could balance the carbs now, then take the bike to get re-jetted later when my race can gets to me. Im waiting on a race can you see.

Do you think you could razz down to letchworth to this guys house? I live in Potters Bar, where are you .Which bike do you have. Ill have to ask him first though. Post back if your interested
