Do users on this forum tend to rate posts badly with little thought, i mean i can understand positive ratings being put out alot and i have no problem with that, but some user just rate everything bad without any thought it would seem
(and this isn't just personal to me but ive seen it done alot to others too) ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...
From September 2014 to January/February 2015 I will not be using any English, nor reading any. As such, I won't be on here. PM at will, but I won't be checking/posting unless in emergencies. Certainly not for the first couple of months. Please berate me savagely if I break that rule... |

The karma system will get those users!
If one user rates it bad and a load of others disagree and rate it positive, the karma system will ignor it anyway. |

I'm fairly happy with the way they are used. The only gripe I have is people not understanding what SPAM means, and when it should be used. The guide to post ratings says this:
This post is SPAM:
Use this reason only if you spot a blatant piece of unsolicited commercial advertising, similar to what you would term junk mail. ____________________ 3516 Miles, 11 Countries |

The difference between complaining about something and flaming/ abuse is something that's not always noted either imo.
This post is A Flame:
Use this reason when a poster is making a deliberate attack on somebody else, but without using particularly bad language or racism.
This post is Abusive:
Use this reason when a poster uses extremely bad / racist language in an attack on another user, or gets way too personal in an argument.
Abuse rating for airing an opinion and not even being rude is wrong... |

I read all posts very carefully before i rate them, everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I would only rate something down if it was written to intentionally dick every body off or has obviously been written by a complete twat. ____________________ Here comes the summer! |
