Really? this forum started out as an NSR forum?

I really had no idea, that's kind of cool, it must have come a long way.

The NSR is a nippy reliable little bike I have a soft spot for them, but I damn the CBR 125 to pus spewing blood gutted hell.

Which is how many of found it back then (searching NSR material to read etc) and why so many people defend NSR's over other 125's. Smile

Yup grew from the NSR site, and my word did it grow.

Lots of things have changed since them days, some for the better some for the worse.

Would I change anything... Probably not you know.

Yeah I notice the same thing, I think I been on here for 3 years ? Maybe a little less as I joined here when I was on a scooter and was searching for advice for what I should do to get a NSR125. But yeah I've noticed it change a bit since I first joined..

I'll happily slate an NSR Wink

In the highly unlikely event someone finds an unmolested example, the first thing they do is set about "derestricting" it with neither the tools nor the expertise to do so. Often based on the information contained within the workshop section of this very forum.

There are exceptions to this with people "getting back to their roots" and a few true enthusiasts but as the recent spate of stuick/mangled alternator rotor and Woodruff key threads is testament, some things never change. 17 year olds let loose near a 125cc motorcycle with a box of tools is one of them.

Have you elders still got the manuscripts detailing the coming of the god of NSRs.

"And lo... There came a prophet, who's parents had dubbed "Peter", the body of a model, the virtue of a genius, bearing gifts. Gifts that were well sporty, like."

It was bikechatforums when I joined but it was a subsection of the NSR125 website, I accidentally found it while watching videos of Zimma doing wheelies on his NSR.
