I hate them all, every random department of random companies that are all incredibly vauge about whether I will get anythiing back and constantly asking me for more money.

It wasn't even my fault so how do I go about sorting this all out. I really badly need a hire bike but they said I will have to pay for insurance for that. I paid my insurance for my NSR in full, does that mean I can get it back cos I dont have the bike anymore or can put it on hold till I get a new one, transfer it to the hire bike etc.

Are all insurance companies this impossibly complicated and irritating.

If you've made a claim on the insurance then you can't get the premium back.

They are also quite within their rights to nake you pay for insurance on a hire bike.

what exactlly is the premium? I thought that was the £150 quid or roundabout that. Not the whole years worth of cash.

My girlfriend had a Fiat Seicento that she made a claim on. She sold the car with five months of the insurance year left and was told that if she cancelled she had to pay back the value of the claim (£1680). So for the past three months we have been paying insurance on a car we do not have Evil or Very Mad

Hi

The is a definate con. I don't think they can claim anything back like that (although they could refuse to refund any of your outstanding premium), and I suspect it is dubiously legal to have insurance on a vehicle you no longer have.

All the best

Keith
