The NHS is currently implementing a system where patient information is held electronically and can be shared throughout departments and regions:

"NHS Connecting for Health supports the NHS in providing better, safer care, by delivering computer systems and services that improve how patient information is stored and accessed."

https://www.connectingforhealth.nhs.uk/

Meanwhile in the USA, a similar system with 8 million patient records was hacked and held to ransom:

What's the worst that could happen?! Very Happy

This database does not exist-at the same time as not existing its also nothing new-at the same time as being nothing new and not existing its also not going to be open to all government agency's-at the same time as it not existing not being nothing new and not being open to all gov agency's the info is not eventually going to be merged with your ID card...the ID cards not real either..neither are the purposely installed flaws..because the chip to replace it providing a solution to these flaws also does not exist.

Working as I do for the NHS I can exclusively reveal that while the C for H helpdesk is very helpful, the whole thing is one huge big cluster fuck just waiting to happen.

For example, part of C for H is providing a new email system for the entire NHS. They've plumped for an OWA based system moving away from the desktop driven application to web mail accessed via IE.

Some commitee in its infinite wisdom decided on an inbox limit of 200mb... They've made it impossible to archive anything, you can't forward any email's out of the network and you can't save them.

No one knows why, all we can guess is that who ever came to this ridiculous conclusion has since left the organisation and no one has the balls to say 'Hold on a minute. this is really fucking stupid...'

Thumbs Up
