Any one tried a bike with one of these yet.

I'm kind of curious as to how it will feel as apparently it almost eliminates brake dive.

Have sorted my self a test ride on a k9 GSXR 1000 when the weather here clears up, thunderstorms for the next 5 days Laughing

As used on the 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R and 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000, the Showa Big Piston Fork is the next big thing in motorcycle front suspension. Allegedly capable of simultaneously reducing dive under braking, better coping with bumps and delivering a more direct connection to the front wheel for riders, the BPF's method is simplicity even if its effects are complicated.

So the horrors of the 80's revival continues.

First it's day-glo socks. Now anti-dive rears its ugly head once more.

Say what you like, that looks like anti-dive, just hidden inside the fork leg rather than bolted to the outside. Anti dive was always shit, people went to considerable time and effort to remove it from their bikes.

What next? 16" wheels? Sidewinder sidecars? Enclosed brake discs?

All bikes will have to be like that soon, but with enclosed discs, and enclosed wheels just in case! Laughing
