I can't start my xr600r its begining to piss me off!

I've done all the things which i've been told to do, ignition off, kick it 4-5 times, get it to tdc, ignition on and kick the thing into next week.

Got it started twice but now it won't fire up at all, oh had two massive bangs, guessing I flooded it trying and it popped the fuel?

Any suggestions?

the bike in question.

Kill switch set so the bike can't start
Throttle wide open and kick fully through ten times
Close throttle and flick kill switch
Kick slowly through to TDC
Pull in decompression lever and kick down an inch or so
One full kick and it should fire

Also check the valves are in spec.
