There is lots there is the ts 50 which is the off road type which can be picked up cheaply to a rs 50 which is sporty and you have to pay a lot more for.

Yeah there are loads about...
Kawasaki AR50, Suzuki TS50, Yamaha DT50, Suzuki EN50 (?)
Where are you based?
I know a man that runs a shop that sells 50cc (well 49cc actually) and spares and makes repairs on them....based in Aldershot, called Chris 07979 837083

Try the derbi's, i've had one for 9 months and i thinks its ace! they don't damage easily when crashed, easy to get parts for and pretty fast for a 50. Mr. Green

You're best of with a trails bike. Theres little to damage if you drop it and it's fun off road. I have an MT50 till next month and although slow, it is fun for donuts and wheelies and snow is brilliant.

My mate has aprilia mx50 which is a great little bike, it's got to be one of the best bike's for cornering i've ever been on and it tops out at about 65-70mph going by the speedo of course Rolling Eyes but it's totally standard with just a uprated sprocket on the front.

I keep on getting raced by this guy at college on a tuned up Senda, as i pull out he follows me revving it up, i just laugh, i take it easy so he thinks he's keeping up with me and just as he's about to overtake i drop it down a gear and clutch it, i totally waste him. But i thought the first time he would have got the idea but he tries to race me every time i see him Laughing .

Why get an RS50 when you can pay a fraction of the price and get a Motorhispania RX or Rieju RS2 Matrix. After all, pretty much all the 50's run on the Minarelli AM6 motor, apart from the Derbi's that is. They all have a similar if not the same output and can be tuned very simply at a rather low cost.
