Any garages/tyre suppliers within walking distance?
Push the bike round and ask them nicely if they'll undo this nut with their impact wrench.
EDIT:
I don't know much about the setup on mopeds but it is also possible to lock two rotating parts that mesh together on sprockets by trapping a stout piece of cloth (eg a folded bit of denim) between the two sprockets. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Completely at your own risk.
You can wedge a piece of wood between the floor and the teeth on the variator. Opposite side for fastening it back up. You might need someone to sit on the bike.
I did it with a screwdriver despite having an impact gun about 10 feet away Waaaay too lazy. ____________________ https://www.metacafe.com/watch/1972097/how_to_behave_on_a_forum/ |
