Cheers,

Why not just softmod?

To be honest I did not know you could softmod.

But does soft modding allow for changing the hard drive?

I've had an Xbox for years and have the Executor mod chip and I still use Xbox Media Centre as its the bolloxs.

Swap the hard drive for something decent.

And you can rip your games straight to hard drive and play them off there (without the need for the disk like on the 360).

Love my Xbox 1. Even though I have 3 Xbox 360s!!!!!!!

Saying that I can mod the 360, but then there is no soldering involved.

I'm used to bike electrics, not microchips.

Sorry, thought I had replied to this! I can't seem to find anywhere that sells modchips that aren't sold out!

Does this method work as a one off? All I need it for is to play chipped games, it is not for me it is for my little brothers and sisters so would have to be a plug in and play sort of thing, nothing too complicated to get the games to play once I leave them to it or I don't reckon they will be able to fathom it!

What I'm basically asking is if I do borrow your items would I be able to return them to you and have no need for them ever again afterwards? P.S - Cheers for the offer, if this is indeed the case I would be very grateful for the loaner!
