SBK 08 + Moto GP 08

Downloaded both demos today and I think they are both utter shite! Thumbs Down

SBK seems really slow and very unresponsive, Moto GP is the opposite it's too sensitive and has no feel to it. I tried messing about with the realism settings and so on but nothing much happened. The only good thing is that on the SBK demo you can use all the bikes Laughing

So PGR4 still remains king, even for bikes Laughing

I think they should make a game like PGR but pure bikes and with the best biking roads from around the world, also letting you mod your bike and so on.

Only played the demos but I think MotoGP was defo the better of the two imho

Tourist Trophy and Riding Spirits have come the closest so far. Apparently IOM TT is good although I've never played it.

Agree. SBK08 was utter pants. Bought it, played it twice, sold it.
It was so unresponsive it was almost a joke. Where was the flickability of a modern sports bike? Pity no one seems to have cracked the physics of bike racing/riding yet.

There will never be a decent dedicated bike game; it is too much of a niche market. Mind you, Road Rash was quality.
