the right hand carb diaphragm on my 1991 kawasaki ZZR 250 has a small split in it and this is stoping the bike from going over 65mph/8000 revs, been looking on the net and ringing bike shops etc but can,t find any that have one for a keihin carb,

does anyone know a keihin carb stockist Question

Hi

These diaphragms are expensive new, and probably not easily available except through Kawasaki.

As a bodge you can try and repair it with superglue and a condom!

Best thing to do is probably try and find some decent 2nd hand carbs.

tryed using vulcanized rubber glue but it did,nt last long, so might try the super glue or the condom Smile


parts for this bike are like rocking horse shit Sad

Are GPX250 carbs the same? If so they should be easier to find from a breakers.

think so.. the ZZR250 is a de-tuned GPX250 in a modern chasse, and have found a site doing diaphragms for £25, just got a VFR400 (NC24) so need to get it sorted before l sell the ZZR250 Smile
