Road Trip - England and Wales

For my 21st birthday in July, I want to do a road trip around england and wales. A couple of my mates will be joining me on bikes. And I will get a couple of my mates to follow us round in cars to carry tents and clothes etc.

Is there anywhere people can recommend for me to visit during my week long trip, will be starting in Stoke On Trent, if anyone will as be so kind to make me a route (excluding motorways - L Plate Rider), it would be much appreciated.

The point is to make your own routes and get to see things you want to. Doesn't matter what it is, could be the pub from Two Pints or the castles of wales.
make a list of what you want then plan it out with the criteria you have to keep to.

Popular tourist places will be busy in July, so places like the Lake district will be full of slow moving tourist traffic who think their car is 20ft wide and that sheep will jump out at any minute.

Depends if you are going to enjoy the roads or want to go to places and see good views etc...

If you plan to go an area and want know good roads then people local to there will help you then and point out biker meet places and good roads.
