Firstly i know there are threads on this subject, mainly bike to bike solutions, but many of those threads are out of date or like the one in the touring section have fallen off track.

I am looking for a system, bluetooth or otherwise that will allow me to do the following:

1) Chat to my pillion
2) listen to my mp3 player
3) hear my sat nav
4) use my phone

Note that current i use a Nokia N80 as my phone, mp3 player and sat nav.

I did look at the Scala Rider Q2 but there are two big problems.

a) I need a system that can play stereo music
b) I want to be able to is my own earphones 3.5mm jack

And ideas?

The ebay one listed is the one that I've got. I bought it from Lidl for buggerall, and it's great.

I would honestly go with the Starcom Advance Bike to Bike kit for £185 ish.. comes with everything you need including radio, 2 headsets (make sure they are the right headsets), power wiring and all link cables

thoroughly worth it in my opinion...

The general consensus is that nothing less than the spec of the starcom or autocom (or similar) is worth buying, especially if you want usable quality kit that you can use (and hear) at speed.
it seems you pay for what you get

Autocom is at the top of communication kit. I have used it for the last 4-5 years. great for pillion and brilliant for bike to bike. the other stuff is just childrens toy standard.

I bought an autocom V8 system from Ebay.

It does not fit in with my requirements above, but as it was quite cheap i thought i would give it a go.

It is 9v powered or 12v with adaptor. Uses the same mics and speakers are the other models, but does not have stereo out put. There is no user adjustable vox control either.

I'm going to give it go when traveling to the BMF show on Sunday. It looks well built and first impressions are good.
