Is anyone going to the German GP?

Since I don't speak German I haven't got past booking the plane tickets to Berlin. Since I've recently had a major back op I don't fancy having to camp but needs must if nothing else turns up.

Does anyone have any English speaking contacts for camper vans / hotels / B&Bs / friends near the track they could help out with please Question

There should be some online surely? Failing that there are translator things available online, where you can write in your question and it translates it into your required language and then you could make you bookings via email

Yeah I thought of that. But then they say something back.

I did give one a go. The conversation went like this:

Me: sprechen zie english?
Receptionist: nein, sprechen zie deutch?
Me: nein. er, bye then...
Receptionist: sweinhund (OK, I'm imagining that bit!)

yeah but if you do it via email, using the translator thing, then you can copy & paste what they say into the translator & vice versa - do it slow time rather than over the phone.

That way you are a winner whatever!

Meantime though I will ask around. There are several peeps I chat to on the Suzuki owners forums and they are bound to know of places in Germany...they have other B&B's listed over the channel (but not in Germany that I know of)

Well, it looks a great place to holiday but it's 6 hours from the track - and we're flying into Berlin which is 3 hours the other side...

I'll take up your earlier suggestion of emailing hotels - thanks for that, I missed it when I replied.

I'll file this link though - it looks fab and I fancy a European blast when I get better... Especially since I really fancy doing the Nurburgring!
