Listen i know most on here hate toseland, but for fuck sake hes trying atleast, i for one like the fact we have a brit up there!
Anyway, I rolled upto work knackard and saw we had a bright bike locked up round back, was look ooo wonder what that is, walked in panting like a dog and one of our sales blokes goes "Got a surprise for you! Toselands R1 needs a polish!" so i was like great... He was at the thundersprint and we gave him an R1 for publicity and heres what he did lol...

I forgot to get a pic of the signature, it looks better in person though, its nice.

I dunno if we are puttin a new tyre on or not i didnt ask, but i dont fancy cleaning it either lmao.

The new R1s are really something different, they sound amazing and are instant power, i just dont like the stumpy look of them though.

And i cant steal you the bike lmao.

I'll come in and drop a tenner by accident. When you notice, and bend down to pick it up and pass it back to me you can drop the keys into my boot. Wink

Call me anal but it really needs big piston gold front forks, it just doesn't look right, even more so on a race rep bike, other than that it looks great. lol

Confused

On what basis does it need gold front forks, just to look pretty?

Interestingly the R1 sports adjustable compression damping in one leg and adjustable rebound in the other like Rossi's M1 (apparently, personally I just think it's to save costs, but if it works).

The colour is really a minor aesthetic detail, but those forks look too skinny to go with the racy look, in my opinion.

I think i read somewhere that the bike was already sold and the dealer had asked the owner if toseland could use it for the thundersprint before it was delivered?
might have imagined it tho.
