Two questions
Not overly impressed with the new Need for speed, im gonna complete it and hand it back to get something else.
Whats the best racing game then? Websites mentioned the new midnight club but the last one i played was terrible. I don't mind arcade style play but it was rediculous.

Secondly, im about to sort my live account.
What are the games you should by to play co-op with a mate?

Cheers Thumbs Up

Best racing game imo is PGR4, it's a mix between arcade & simulation so it's not really that hard to get into but it makes it very fun. Great selection of cars/bikes & online isn't to bad either.

Online PGR4 is wank!!! There is never anybody on it! If there was i'd have a place of worship just for the bloody game.

Never really got into any of the racing games.

Will stay clear of them until they bring one out as good as Tourist Trophy, but with races involving a decent amount of bikes.

As for live/co-op, I assume you mean other genres, in which case the COD series still top the online charts Thumbs Up

I have/had pretty much all the racing games on 360.

PGR4 - is the best for both cars and bikes but online is rubbish. It has the best balance of arcade and realism I love it and still have it and play it Laughing

Forza 2 - is also good, very technical and realistic. You can also tune your cars to how you want (not need for speed style) I still have that as well. The only thing I don't like is it's a little too realistic.

DIRT - another good game but gets boring quickly. I may trade it in.

Test Drive Unlimited - A good fun game, especially for free roam because the map is HUGE. Loads of cars to choose from, a few bikes and also clothes Laughing But what let it down for me was the handling was a bit too arcady. Still have this as well.

I've also had midnight club and gave up on need for speed a long time ago.

New games that should be worth it:

DIRT 2 - New stuff added looks pretty good

FUEL - looks awesome (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEaVgKDvFK4&feature=related)

F1 - although it might be next year

Moto GP09 - supposed to be all new and much better

That's all I can remember for now

I had test drive unlimited and it was the nuts, really good with a steering wheel. Thumbs Up

Think im gonna get PGR4 as its very cheap now and worth having.
I am liking these racing games that are a bit more than just track racing though, like NFS.

Another 1 for PGR4 and DiRT.

Online games I've recently got back into is Halo 3, will always be a good shoot em up. Never played COD4 but that is mean't to be really good.

Ever played NFS pro street? Hard and bit naff at start but you can set your car up for different events and it seems alot more real. Undercover like you've got it so poor and not realistic, I got it and wern't impressed tbh.

Well i am dissapointed.
I enjoyed parts of NFS undercover but last night i completed it and the last few levels are complete shite!

I LOL'd on the last level though i had to ram some bitch off the road and get the evidence back, at the time i had a heavily modded Viper and when the level started i just aimed my car at her and hit the NOS. The chase was, i assume, meant to last some time but i hit her once at around 180mph, sending my car and hers at a wall smashing everything to pieces. Her car and mine disintergrated mid air and landed in a mess of metal and smoke.

The end Laughing Thumbs Up
