(not that he'd of known cos he didnt slow down or care..) Middle Finger

Sorry you had an off. You should be able to pick up a clutch lever for a tenner or less - easy to fit. Maybe you should get a new clutch cable though - I imagine it would have been stretched a little too much if the lever's been ripped off?

yeah i think it is, should i get the garage to do the clutch cable? also, does it matter if my indicators are slightly bent? they're still very visible and stuff, barely noticeable

No you should be fine with the indicators if they're not cracked and still face the right way.

A clutch cable should be easy enough to replace too. If you haven't got one then invest in a Haynes manual - I always do when I get a new bike - it saves on some bills.
If you are in doubt then yes - go to a garage. It won't take them long. I would, however, recommend you have a go yourself - you'll gain confidence and feel good when you've acheived a fix.

It's a good sign that you want to ride again so soon, mate. It means it hasn't scared you off Thumbs Up Haynes should save you a few quid.

Just ordered a haynes online, reckon that'll tell me how to replace the clutch lever and tighten cable, and put it in simple terms for an idiot like me?

They can over complicate things sometimes and the photos can be hard to locate but generally a Haynes manual pays for itself the 1st time you open the cover. At £20 that's 1hr of engineer's time at the garage. Use the manual with a big bag of common sense and you should be sorted.
You sure you're not replacing that cable? If you hold it in position does it look the right length? There isn't usually that much give in the adjuster.

Sorry to hear about your first crash but glad to hear it wasn't too serious.
But the driver who just went straight past, that sucks, like seriously :/

God no. If it's working and you're not bothered about scuffs then just leave it and count yourself lucky! Give the lever a good few tests to make sure the cable's OK - give the cable some lube while you're there too. If the clutch is engaging OK then any changes would be purely cosmetic.

Glad you are ok mate, how did it happen at such low speed? Did you hit a wet patch or some gravel or something? Or shouldn't I ask!!

The thing I have to watch out for through the lanes on my way to work is horse crap...hit a patch of that and you know it...plus the bike stinks afterwards too!

the clutch is relatively easy to replace... lever will probably cost you a tenner, depends where you buy it I guess.

glad you're okay. Dont worry too much about the attitude of the Landrover matey, at least he was paying attention and didnt cause you more damage.....

Not having the bobble on the end should be an MOT failure. Given that the lever is going to be very cheap I would say just replace it.

All the best
