Holy Carp. I've been rubbing my hands with glee and expectation all week.
The weather was fantastic, not a cloud in the sky from Monday to Thursday.
Lookin forward to a few nice spins over the weekend and...roll on Friday...
Pissin rain all day and bloody Baltic! Not looking good for the rest of the weekend neither.
Oooh, I could crush a grape!!
Mad

Such is the lot of the British motorcycle rider.
You must live with it.

Tuck your skirts in, lad, and get on the damn bike anyway.

What are you, a man or a small furry rodent which we pronounce MOWSE and you most probably pronounce MOOSE?

In Yorkshire we had a good March & April, I was out each weekend and also every lunchtime. (Exceptional really)

But the last 2 weeks haven't been good. ( I haven't been out at all). We had really strong winds for a nearly a week and now its just torrential rain. Which is also forecast for the rest of the weekend.

On Monday and Tuesday the weather was nice, but the winds too much.

Hmmm, I noticed it was a bit blowy over Canning Town flyover the last couple of days ...

Best put me concrete gumboots on, then.

The joys of self employment ( or the lack of work at the moment) means I can go out when the sun shines no matter what day it is.

You can move to Canada, where it's gorgeous six months of the year and three feet of the snow for the rest. Or you can deal with the rain here and be able to ride all year round! Surprised

My lunchtime ride tops out at over 1300 feet from sea level.

Pissed it down today as soon as I left the house.
Throughly enjoyable ride besides the idiot that decided it's cool to make me test out my wet braking abilities. Thumbs Up
