Well its a LONG time since i have done a track day or any race orientated riding i had a big off a few years back and it shook me up and i was terrified of tracks... i have just swapped my Zthou in for a KTM 640 lc4 super motard... and was wondering what track you would think it would be good on... tracks with big straights are a big no no as all the sports bikes anhilate it on long straights.

And preferably in the north of the country and with a fuel station nearby as the 9 litre fuel tank wont last long !!! lol

thanks in advance
Dave

Cadwell?

Only one straight really worth noting and some nice corners to outbrake the sports bikes into. There's also a petrol station a few minutes ride away, last time I went there I rode down with no plate.

Go there and conquer your fears mate Very Happy start in the slow group, move up if you feel confident.

How about Three Sisters? Think they sometimes have bike trackdays there.

I've done Cadwell on an RS250 in the inters groups a couple of times and have generally got left behind on the straights, but only really find it annoying when you catch the same people up in the corners again. Could probably upgear the LC a bit, but it's still not going to have the aerodynamics.

My 690 topped out at a GPS indicated 108, but that was with my weird fairing, big metal panniers and a pillion.
