Wouldn't normally ask this on here but after 3 day's of searching ebay and local shops i just cant think of anything i want.
I have a bike and a car so dont want either of them (unless i was offered something nice of course)
I have a grand sitting doing nothing and i want something that will keep me amused for a little while.
Was thinking about nitro cars/boats/heli's e.t.c. but i dont think i really want one of them.
I dont want off-road things like quads/pitt bikes/go-karts e.t.c.
I actually want something to show for the money aswell so dont want to throw it away on drugs/sluts/ rubber dolls 
Dont want to save up either,so i do have to spend it.
And no bike parts either.
Preferably nothing to do with cars or bikes as i'm bored shitless of bike now.
Looking forward to some genuine suggestions here.

I have a wii ~Xbox ~ps2 ~psp~ds~and a laptop and home comp,non of which i use (other than the laptop i'm using now  )
Not really into computer games.

Just recently bought a new mobile phone aswell as new camping gear like tent e.t.c. so those are out aswell.
It's shit 'cos it's too much to throw away on crap and not enough to buy something decent

You cant get many bikes for 1k anyway.
Anyway,you've been saying your coming back to the u.k. since as long as i can remember so i cant see it happening anytime soon

Book some courses at local college for the next year.
Useful stuff like:
Welding
Plastering
I dunno ?
And then buy any necessary equipment to use your new skills.
A bit boring compared to radio controlled helicopters and shooting things I will admit.

I'm unemployed at the moment anyway so college courses dont cost me anything.
I used to work in building maintanence so can allready plaster(hate it with a passion)
I have most tools like welders e.t.c. and an uncle who's a professional welder,so dont need that either.
I could probably use a course in spelling and grammar  but to fuck with that.
School was bad enough,i couldn't be bothered with college.

Allready tryed the loans thing a couple of years ago which didn't go too well,so i'll avoid that one.
Flying lesson would be cool,but also not much different to throwing the money out the window.It's not a skill i could use.

If you were determined to spend it, what about a piece of original artwork? I'm sitting on a couple of grand that's burning a hole in my pocket, so apart from flying home to NZ (out the window at the moment due to ze dreaded schweinengrippen) but other than that, at the moment I have everything I want, I'm looking at art.
I saw a blinding canvas a few months back, it was covered totally in little surgical scalpels, all stuck on in some sort of pattern - and on one side of the canvas there was what looked like a scar ... it was well cool. The gallery bird said they represented a school of shiny silver fish (yeah yeah blah blah arty farty talk) ... but to me it just looked like a bunch of scalpel blades and a scar. (ok, maybe you had to be there ... but it was an extremely cool canvas) She wanted £1800 for it - she said she'd come down to £1500, but I wasn't about to pay one and a half for something which would have to go in my living room and with people smoking all the time in there, it would spoil it.
So you could look at stuff like that, instead of just going to allposters.com for posters of Tony Montana or whatever.

I'd spend it on self improvement, gaining some basic skills that would get me over the initial learning curve so I could take it further myself. Maybe music lessons, first aid, drawing, painting - stuff like that.
