i have taken the can off my RS125 and its full with black shite is there any chemical i can use to clean it?

Caustic soda?

Seal off the exhaust at one end, then fill it up with the stuff. Leave it for a few hours then drain it out. Probably be good to let it dry for a while as well! you can get it from any DIY place, be careful though as it can give you some nasty burns.

i washed mine out with petrol, put it back together and it sounded so loud it was like a gp bike! a quick blast down some country lanes soon sorted it out though Karma

that was because the baffle got soaked in petrol so it wasn't doing the job its supposed to do until it dried back out Razz Mr. Green
