you missed the Cagiva mito 125 on your list , isnt a CBR a 4 stroke, therefor no, but ive heard people making 4 stroke 125s fast though

2 stroke = guel guzzler and the fastest choice but not always reliable. 4 stroke are just the ultimate reliability + fuel economy ride

33bhp should be possible, but would need a pretty good wedge of cash throwing at it! Would affect reliability too.

and if you want a 125 with 33bhp its lifespan wont be long as it will be tuned like ferk

Nsr is one of the best 125s except cagiva mito.
Iv actually found my nsr is quicker than the 07 rs because my mate has got one.

But CBR is the slowest with it been a 4 stroke, struggles to get over 75mph and its slow.
Good for cornering, very light, and you can put it into the corners easy.

Was that 07 heavily restricted due to emissions testing?
i bet it was, they have all sorts of things on the new RS's to restrict em, needs the cat from exhaust removed, CDI drilling, upjetting, bigger carbs, just to make it sit inside the rules.

On the new RS125s that are restricted via cdi among other things, theres a certain position to drill through that will activate the powervalve side of the electrics to work im told.

And secondly for the amount of money you would throw into an old ts to get it to 33bhp you could do your test and buy a bike that has 3 times that power standard.
