I have come across an AF1 50cc. i cant find much info on these on the web, i was just wondering if anyone could give me some info such as bhp, top speed etc.

Are these any good? Seem pretty hard to come by?

quite rare , nippy bikes. really nice miraneli am6 engine i beleive same as a rs50 etc.

Hi

Not sure they were sold here, but a fair few around.

While it is a Minarelli engine the owners handbook I have for one lists it as an RV3 engine (3 speed gearbox).

Not sure how similar the engine is the AM6, but suspect that if you did derestrict and tune it you might have issues with the wide spaced gears combined with the narrow power band.

all the ones iv seen on ebay n shiz say there 6speed n got the AM6.
there nice though, if they have got the AM6 then there pukkas.

it has the rv3 engine in it ithink. how hard would it be to put the am6 engine in, these come in rs50s do they? what about a 125 engine in there?

Hi

Anything is possible with time / money / skill, but fitting the Aprilia RS125 engine would not be easy.

Not sure but I suspect that the AM6 engine would probably fit. Minarelli sell engines to so many people that I would doubt they would change the engine mounts unless they really had to.
