What genre of music is this?

At the moment I'm loving these songs, but I'm not really sure what genre you'd call them? Trance maybe? Where can I get more!!

How weird is that, i only just found 'Sun King' a few days ago as well. Smile

First two are completely different to the last one.

First one has a Drum & Bass beat but kind of a Goa / Psy-trance vibe going on with all the wailing and wind chimes etc. I guess Goa could be a sub-genre of D&B so just search for that. Normally 'goa' just has a 4-4 beat.

Second one is pretty standard D&B, usually referred to as 'liquid d&b' to separate it very simply from the harder sub-genres of D&B. So it's more melodic and less 'dirty' for want of a better word. Search for stuff by LTJ Bukem, mixes by Fabio or just 'Liquid D&B'.

Last one is house, but I guess it's 'Balearic' or Ibiza style house. Search for stuff by Eric Prydz, mixes by Eric Morillo, Jose Nunez or any compilations with 'Pacha' or 'Ibiza' in the name of it.

If you're into these type of music, you might want to check out breakbeat too.

Quite a while ago I've found an online radio, called ibreaks and I'm still loving it. They mostly play breakbeat and some of the djs are pretty good so it should give you a good idea about what breakbeat is.

Yeah, I listen to some of that sort of thing, I'm subscribed to the D&B arena (www.breakbeat.com) podcast on itunes at the moment so I get loads of hour long mixes Cool
