Just found out about this company in Australia called Deus Ex Machina who make customs, but from imported Japanese classic style bikes (Suzuki SR400s and Kawasaki W650s and the like) and oh my holy christ, I know what I'm spending all of my money on if I ever live in OZ!

They mainly specialise in Cafe Racers, flat trackers and Bobber style bikes and can range from subtle customisation, to full on unrecognisable from the original (both in terms of looks, equipment and price) and I love all of them!

I'll shut up now and just dump a few pics of their creations for you to enjoy.
(NB unfortunately I don't work for them and I am not affiliated with them, so no spam shouts please)

Yeah, there's something really cool about a bike which looks like it gets used and that doesn't require cleaning/polishing all the time.

Thinking about bike 2... I wouldn't mind (well one day) making a project like that. What bike do you think would be good to start? (i.e. that would require the least amount of work).

A Kawaski Z650 wouldn't be a bad choice, not sure if the IL4 engine would suit it though.

I think it would have to be a single really, would look messy with 4 exhaust ports...

True... but I did mention an easy conversion Razz

I probably don't have enough time to do the project well, and my Dad would kill me if I got another bike. The garage is far to full as it is.
