I'm ashamed that i haven't visited a road race...yet, but it's gotta be the pinnacle of bike racing..or at the very least in it's purist form.

Thanks for that, as usual the 250 race was pure edge of the seat action! same bout the lad who sadly lost his fight for life.

I watched the first one, and was surprised at the quality of the coverage and commentating. Top stuff all the way through.

One thing I can't stand about MotoGP is that awful, awful man Charlie Cox. He has nothing to say worth saying, misses all the important on-track action, interrupts Steve Parrish a lot, often makes snide remarks about Parrish's opinions and is, imho, an arrogant and boring loudmouth.

The NW200 commentating is not only more professional, it's a damn site more interesting and informative.

I watched this the other night, some really good racing, much more exiting to watch than the likes of Moto gp.

Those 250's bloody fly too!

I love watching MotoGP, but it has to be said that the racing on show here was brilliant. Them guys have got big kahunas.

The 250 race was awesome, I proper jumped up at the screen when Dunlop and Elkin collided. Big respect for Seely getting back on a bike and being so competitive after his accident too!

Bring on the TT.

Perhaps I'm a little behind the times, but the Beeb never mentioned that some riders were using a thumb brake to stop wheelies!

What is the spec of the 250s? Old Supersport 250-2t/400-4t?

Yes, you are. Thumb brakes have been around since the days of Mick Doohan and possibly before that.
A lot of a) stunters and b)disablists (like Doohan was) are using them, as well as racers.
