Anyone seen the ch4 series?

What extent do real guys actually go to these days?
It's easy to sit in front of a monitor and type stuff, I don't think the men they interview on there are really honest bearing in mind their mates from down the pub will see the show at some point...

Does anyone here stay with the trends in cosmetics etc(m0l0t0v - fawbish etc Wink ) Laughing Or work out loads etc?

I do, I get fairly trendy clothes, average branded hair gel realted shiz, I also use this spot cream stuff under advice from my doctor. I dont think it 'works' but im asked if I use it and I'm not too good a liar face to face. Laughing

I work out on a regular basis, keep my 6 pack in shape. Cosmetics wise, eyeliner, mascara and a bit of foundation but that's about it.

I make absolutely no effort whatsoever Very Happy

Iv never followed fashion, dont exercise, dont eat the correct foods and certainly dont have a bathroom cupboard with anything that could be considered a male grooming product.

I still managed to find someone to marry me though, she must have been desperate Laughing

I have short hair so I don't have to use 'product'. I've never worn make up, or moisturiser etc apart from when I was a cadet and I used camo paint.

The toiletries I use are as follows:

Shower gel,

Deodorant,

Toothpaste

Foot powder

Thats it.

I prefer a man to be groomed, and clean, and I much prefer toned to wobbly. Thumbs Up

That doesn't necessarily mean men who use 'product' though. I'm always clean (unless I've been working in the garage) and I've always got trimmed nails, and I've usually got shaved or trimmed facial hair. I also study martial arts and so am not 'wobbly'. However, I wouldn't class myself as a metrosexual...

No. But I don't really mind either way, so long as the outcome is as I suggested. Although I do mind if a man spends longer getting ready to go out than I do!!! Thumbs Up

I do all the normal hygiene stuff, but not fussed about pedicure/manicures moisturising, designer haircuts, designer clothes etc etc.

i.e. You can't polish a turd, so I don't really bother trying!! Very Happy

Don't use any grooming stuff. I trim the beard once in a while and try to stay fairly clean. Never really worried about working out or fancy clothes.

I'm 20. I got talking to a guy while walking down the street with my brother (16). The guy thought I was his dad Shocked. Not sure what to make of that...

I do believe in personal health to an extent, despite having a lonely existance...

Shampoo is Pantene Pro-v as it's the best.

I don't use moisturiser but really should as my hands look like they are older than me..

I try to eat healthy and the only excersise I get is climbing up the bed frame to bed (removed the ladder) and walking between sites when on call. I used to be a Kickboxer and was slim and finally putting on muscle.

2 years on and the muscle is all but gone now.

I don't drink much and I stopped smoking 4 years ago.

I do not follow fashion, trends, brands for fashion or what is cool or uncool. If I want to wear a thermal undersuit from a Drysuit under my leathers to keep warm, I will.

I am picky on some things.. HP brown sauce, HP baked beans etc...

Nearest thing I use that can be called "product" is Swarfega.

I get my hair "styled" at a local barbers, but it only costs £6.50 and I have crap hair so if it's not cut properly it looks stupid. I use spiking glue from sainsburys to gel my hair, takes all of a minute to do.

Started using that Oxy face wash, although it's better than other face washes imo, its not a great deal better than water alone.

As for fashion, I'd like to try and look relatively fashionable, but brand names don't equal fashion to me. I shop at Sports Direct for cheap summer clothes, tshirts, shorts and jeans etc. I love camo trousers. Also shop at TK Maxx.. can get some decent stuff there for reasonable prices.

I'm terrible with shoes.. I have 2 pairs at the moment, one were meant to be for running only but they get worn for everything and the other pair were meant to be nicer going-out type shoes but now I wear them to work as an electrican, so go figure....

I won't spend more than £30 on a single shirt.. Preferably only £20!

Training wise, I want to get fit and have a nice body yadda yadda, not for fashoin but because I think it would look better, make me feel better but most importantly the fitter and stronger I am the easier work will be and means fun sports are also easier. So more function over fashion.

Only thing I'm terrible at is cleaning my teeth! I usually clean twice a day but when I get home from work and before bed, toothpaste in the morning makes me feel sick!! Sick

I shave my hair myself.
I only trim my beard, not very often (every 2-4 weeks). Also trim around my johnson.
I am a bit overweight, with beer belly and titties.
I used to lift weights in my mates garage, but then he moved house. Haven't worked out for about 3 months.
However I do like to be "clean", shower religiously and change clothes everyday.

Gym 3 times a week, running 3 times a week. Hair is done at T & G. Made to measure suits and cheapest shirt is probably something like a Jeff Banks shirt or something, generally Hugo Boss etc. Dont think I have a pair of jeans that cost less than £100.

But after all that ive got a little bit of a belly and I look like shit. Never mind.

I use face wash, moisturiser, and hand cream.

That's probably the only "gay" stuff I use.

If I don't use moisturiser the skin on my face goes really dry, if I can't use hand cream my hands go dry. It stops me from flaking away. Laughing

As for clothes it's usually whatever's in John Lewis as I get discount there. Wink
