Opinions, very tempted, may purchase one tomorrow.
Any good?
Feel like a bit of a change, more for backroad and town play, no longer fussed about almost 2ton blasting.
Like the look, 0%finance looks very nice and more importantly i'm getting the others half's encouragement.

Looks like Honda's B-King.

IMO The Susie B-King looks a lot better and is around the same price I think. Susies are on 0% Finance atm too I think!

In my experience, naked bikes are SO much better for pretty much anything on the road.

The wide bars and seating position make everything so easy to do, they are flickable and feel alot easier to ride, especially round town etc...

Plus, the wind keeps you generally staying at more license friendly speeds, all of sudden, 100mph feels like warp speed.


But if you still want to give it some beans....they definately do, I chased a FZ1 up to 140 the other week and we were fairly even!

If I wasn't such a tart and/or loved my 675 so much I'd definately be looking for a 1000 naked!

I took a demo one out a few weeks back.

I think they have about 120bhp, but it was grunty as hell low down, brakes were good, ride felt smooth.

The seating position is supermoto-esque.

Yea i know what you mean about the high bars for day to day, i've been riding my dads cbfthou to work for a few months and have found it a hoot, there and back cant top the ton really anyway.

I have a test ride on wed if the demos back in, i must say so far - I Like.
'Tis nice and small, even the Fz1 looks fat and ugly in comparison and the B-king is absolootley fookin heuooge.

I keep seeing a really small '04 Z1000 kicking aboot. Looks incredible. But in fairness I also like the look of the CB1000, and the B-King and a speed triple, and pretty much anything.

My next door neighbor works for honda and he can hire any bike he likes for something like £30 per month. It is done like some complex loan system where they loan him the money to buy the bikes but he pays them back at a very low interest and they can buy it back. Anyway, the current steed of choice is a jet black CB1000R and I have to say it is damn good looking.

I'd like to see what it rides like. 120bhp in a naked short wheelbase chassis has to be fun!

b-king will have more power then your 12 so your not really changing much but getting rid of the fairing.
