I can't wait for it. After the horrible taste COD5 left behind, I'm hoping for another epic game. COD4 had one of the best single players I've ever played, and the multi player is still great for a laugh. I will most definitely pre order this.

Excellent, Infinity Ward are superior to Treyarch.

So it's going to be different to CoD4 how? A couple of extra vehicles? A new graphical effect or two? Re-arrange some of the functions? New guns? More maps? All for the super duper price of another £35. Rolling Eyes

Same formula. The existing CoDs are good, but another one essentially the same for another £35? Nah, think I'll pass.

Its going to have to be alot different from COD4 to do well, teh call of duty series hasn't exactly pushed the boundries in terms of features for the last 8 years or so.

I'm looking for proper damage moddeliing at least in this one, fed up with indestructable buildings.

I hope it swings more towards realism too, I know they probably won't but I'd like to see me actaully have to think about tactics, and hey how about something not-so linier.

Just give me a city to assult and let me sort the rest out Smile

If that's your bag you may want to check out Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

1/2 hits kill you. It's super realistic.

That has to be the shittest teaser trailer I've ever had the misfortune of watching. Makes me want to not buy the game just to spite the pathetic excuse of a time-wasting trailer.

Should be good, but as its a console port I'm a bit edgy, I've got a feeling its going to be really really good, or completly ruiend.

It is only the second COD Infinity Ward will have developed, the first 3 were by Treyarch, who gave 4 to Infinity Ward and took over again for World at War or COD5.

Now it goes back to Infinity Ward, who made COD4 the bliss it is, so what if there was a half arsed game made by the old developers using Infinity's development tools.

It stands a very high chance of being a good sequel to COD4, and of course it will be COD4 with new maps and guns ect as that is what a shooter is, I don't want to see the mechanics or function change, just the locale, enemies, and some weapons and effects, we enjoy and love COD4, too far from that feel and the love is gone.

I suggest you rent it when it arrives, it could have made some subtle and really pleasing tweaks to the COD experience.

I begrudge no man less than £4 to play his high profile game for a week.

Pay £35 if it hits home and it is worth that money.

Failing that, procure an illegal copy.

Lol are you serious?

Its NOTHING LIKE COD!

At least the original op flash wasn't.

For starters its realistic with none-linier missions.

Lol your taking the piss arn't you? Get your facts right.

Call of duty, Call of duty 2, and Call of duty 4 were developed by Infinity Ward.

Grey matter were responsible for the exspansion pack United offensive for Call of duty.

Treyarch were responsible for Call of duty 3 and and Cod 5 (W@W) and "the big red one" console exspansion pack for Call of duty 2.

There have been a couple of PSP versions made by some random companies.

But Cod 6 is IW's 4th game (You also have to remember that alt of the infinity ward developers game from the medal of Honor series. So some of the dev's could have worked on alot more WW2 FPS shooters.

COD 1 and united offensive exspansion is still the best ever game in my list for the sheer gameplay and originality when it was released Smile.

This will definately be on the preorder list for me. I can't believe that Infinity Ward handed Treyarch such a good platform on a plate and all they could do was make a complete pigs ear of it.

Cod4 with some new weapons, new levels and maps - I'll be as happy as a pig in the proverbial Thumbs Up

Agreed! O.F. was/is more realistic than COD, harder, alot less linear. Mad to think it came out years ago.... I played it alot back then Smile.

COD possibly more 'fun', depends what you like though.

Looks exactly like ArmA: 1. I thought 1 was an ok game, but not as good as the original Op Flash.

The new one looks pretty much the same, same engine, same crap explosions. Only this time with wild boars Very Happy
