The blurred out bit on the front is the surgery address.

That is a doctors sick note, most employers want that now as doctors were charging for hand written ones.

That's what it is now. That's what I had to get to let Next know I wasn't gonna work. It obviously wasn't enough to tell them my wrist is fucked and I can't lift anything!. Wankers.

You are going to get analy raped by your employer..then you will have a valid reasonf or a sick note.

Any good doctor that wants to keep his reputation won't give you a fake sicknote/letter, and draughting one up yourself will be blindingly obvious to your employer (and what happens if your gaffa decides to follow it up and ring your doctor?)

To be honest, serves you right for throwing a sicky when you weren't actually sick. All these folk getting made redundant and struggling to find another job and then there are people like you that have a job but abuse your rights. Middle Finger Twisted Evil Middle Finger

how long were you off for??

unless its longer than a working week (i.e. 5 days) you dont need to produce one.

even if work ask you can say you never went to the doctors and as long as you've not had more than the week off its perfectly within your rights to refuse.

You do realise that you are allowed 7 days self certification sick.

This is a legal requirement for any company.
The company can ask for a doctors sick note. However, this is not a legal requirement and as doctors charge for these when not actually required, you should point out the company should pay for it (or recompense you the cost).

Also be aware sick notes are legal documents. To 'fake' one could have consequences.

Just some thoughts Thumbs Up
