this has probably been done before but anyway, i like to to keep my bike clean and sparkling but its a tough task. Does anybody have any tips, special tricks or advice on products that they use to clean their bikes? ____________________ ?It?s mercy, compassion, and forgiveness I lack?not rationality.? |

paraffin, use it to remove any chain lube/grease/brake dust etc etc etc.
Its cheep and does the job. Simply apply with an old brush, then just wash the bike as normal. Also has a benefit over WD40 as if it goes on your tyres its not AS bad as if wd40 get on there. ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

Use Autoglym motorcycle cleaner from Halfords for the wheels, swingarm, etc. You brush it on with a dry brush and rinse it off and it removes all manner of grease + grime.
Then wash the whole thing with a wash + wax, rinse thoroughly and shammy it when it's nearly dry so you don't get any water marks.
Presto - one shiny bike!
(and then wait for the rain to start... ) |
