WD-40 for your wheels, just don't get it on your discs! Soapy water and a sponge always worked for me.

Screwfix direct so some stuff called SX90 Same as WD40 and less than half the price, free's,lubes and water seals as well as cleaning pretty much any thing !
I had a quite a lot of oil on my main casinf and white sprit is quite good for getting it off.

Just elbow grease really, the wd does work on the wheels, but I found that if I cleaned it well once a week and just tried to give it a quick wipe every so often it seems to stay pretty clean pretty easily.

paraffin, use it to remove any chain lube/grease/brake dust etc etc etc.

Its cheep and does the job. Simply apply with an old brush, then just wash the bike as normal. Also has a benefit over WD40 as if it goes on your tyres its not AS bad as if wd40 get on there.

Use Autoglym motorcycle cleaner from Halfords for the wheels, swingarm, etc. You brush it on with a dry brush and rinse it off and it removes all manner of grease + grime.
Then wash the whole thing with a wash + wax, rinse thoroughly and shammy it when it's nearly dry so you don't get any water marks.
Presto - one shiny bike!

(and then wait for the rain to start... Laughing )
