Had a search and couldn't see a thread on these guys... but there are some other Britain's Got Talent threads so I thought I'd wack this up...

I bloody love this act Laughing Every time I watch them I have the biggest grin on my face, it's absolutely hilarious and it's such a feel good act because of the father/son thing going on!

I really hope they win, anyone else got any thoughts?

One trick ponies. Cowell is banking on a winner who can release records to make money for SyCo. These two are obviously not it.

No, they're moderately amusing but have no longevity to their act. Wobbling around to a different track each time you see them does not constitute longevity.

That lad, something Aghozobi or something, the little 12 year old who sung a song about something... yeah? Well he had a big part in a kids programme called 'Grandpa in my pocket'.

I love Stavros Flatley,they're one of the best acts IMHO. They're really funny and like you say,their father and son bond is dead lovely! I hope they win,they certainly entertain me Smile

She sang again, went to the judges decision with her and the hig pitched singing bloke. She's in the final.

No just cynical and wouldn't put it past the parents or even bgt people to come up with a way to win sympathy votes.

But to be fair, the level of talent last night was shit, the show was a joke both with performances and back stage such as the special effects team.... the whole flying cape thing was a shambles Laughing

I also cant see why everyones going crazy for that young "break dancer" he does the same moves for a couple of minutes and everyone goes wow.. hes good but i dont see what the fuss is about. Blatant copy/modifcation of the george sampson performance the night before with the monitors etc...

I think the show hypes things up too much now when the person really isnt that great .... susan boyle anyone? she's not really that great, they just hyped her over the top to make it seem great and now it appears she's falling to pieces as people realise she isn't actually anything that special. I don't buy into the whole "im not really that amazing but im only 10 years old/ugly/50yr old virgin/chicken factory worker so therefore I should be hyped up and famous" routine.

BTW, i am usually a fan of BGT i think its good fun tv if you dont take it too seriously. And Diversity FTW, some real /entertainment/ there.

BGT is meant to find the most entertaining talent (apparantly) yet it always ends up with a load of singers trying to be amazing, isn't that what the xfactor is for?

2 grand being the acception, they arent amazing singers but they are good entertainers. I thought that was what BGT was trying to find. Not the next Paul Potts, again.

Completely agree there, the point of the programme is variety, and it's just clogged up with a load of singers, most of whom you can't tell apart. On top of that, I bet there are a lot of better singers out there who just don't bother to go on BGT!

Same again there, it's very obviously set up (showing a load of acts which are a complete joke when it's obvious there are a lot of other better acts auditioning just to make good TV), and they do over hype people with a bit of talent just because they aren't the usual 'famous' type. There's a reason they aren't, stop trying to make them so. Thumbs Up

She has a pretty good voice, I reckon the only reason they didn't say 'come back and audition on your own' is cause it would have killed the grandad. Don't think it beats the relationship in Stavros Flatley, except I suppose a close relationship between child and grandparent is rarer than between child and parent, at least in my experience?

Longevity doesnt come into it.

The idea behind the show is to find someone to do a one off performance and get 100k for their troubles but as usual it turns into a find me my next big earner exercise by Cowell.

If Cowell wants to sign one of the acts and make money out of it it doesnt have to be the winner.
