well it isnt that far away from me, damage doesnt seem to be that bad, was thinkin of making an offer.

but a few things are bugging me.
It says 8k miles, so its gona need new piston rings?
why is the frame black, all new shape are "polished"
How is it a 55 plate if the new shape didnt come out till 2006?

Looks good, the damage shouldn't be too much to fix. Not sure it's worth 1.5k though..

A 2006 bike can be 55 plate if it is registered beforee --06 plate comes out (before March or whatever).

Im not sure if it is the old shape or not. It seems like alot of effort to change it. Front disk is old shape though which is strange as if its an 05 it would probably still be on its first disk by now.

Yep front disk is old shape but everything else is new shape Confused 9k means new pistons, It looks a bit of a mess TBH, there's quite a bit of rust. You might be better off looking at the older shape. Try A&K motorcycles they are the ones that bought mine, they have a bus load of RS's Thumbs Up

PS listing ended

i have around £2000 to spend, was looking at getting a 2008 low milage one if possible, just seems worth looking into ones with slight damage if there alot cheeper.

its been on ebay for a totall of 2 month now being relisted each time, and from what i can see, its never had any offers on it.

i was hoping to show people this one that was on ebay buy it now for £1000, looked great tbh, but sadly the pictures have been removed. was a 1999 rs 125 with all new 2007 fairings and running gear fitted.

yeh, your right, it just seems a little wierd having all the old things on + being damaged ect... doesnt seem worth getting.

theres 2 other damaged ones on ebay, both 2007, but they have 1 rubbish picture in the dark and have next to no information about them.
from a proper bike shop aswell, stupid...

I would be wary of buying an old shape with the new panels on as to me it seems like something someone would do when they crash with the old panels (not allways true). Personally i would spend that money on a really good condition, low milage old shape or if you have your heart set on the new shape try and find one that is genuine.

Just too let you know that 'black' frame has covers on it i could see that in seconds of looking at the picture you could see a bolt/large screw holding it on.

Looks identical to mine looks new model in pretty much every way, he might have a new disk (old shape) on it (warped the old one or something?) could be anything looks fine to me, but its probably had no bids as people dont want to do the re-fitting of piston?

my 2 pence Thumbs Up

It may have had offers, it just doesn't show it on eBay because it's a classified ad, not an auction or a BIN.

the obvs crash damaged
the wierd front break disc?

whats it worth?

when i sell it to i have to state its a crashed & repaired bike?

also, these should fix the bike up great!

Wouldnt touch it with a shitty stick.

Hills is a 5 minute walk from me and ive seen some of the bikes in there listed as minimal damage which on closer inspection have bent and damaged frames. One which sticks in my mind is an r6 i looked at was told if i bought it i could ride it away. My reply yeah but it wouldnt be to stable with a cracked and warped wheel. they didnt have a clue and had not even noticed it.
