Anyone ever had one? My neighbour is thinking of buying his uncles 1992 plate, never failed an MOT! Been very well looked after from what I hear, serviced regular etc. Said to be immaculate.

So apart from being very f*ckin' uncool is there a legitimate reason to avoid one?

He only needs it to go to and from work and his girlfriends house so it's not going to take a hammering. (I don't think) Laughing ).

I used to have one of these as a field bike! Was a good laugh, even had knobblies. Seem to remember it being chain driven though?

I commuted on one of these little beauties for a year. stupendously reliable and cheap as chips to run and insure. A good nick one will be around £450 or so I reckon.
