Im looking at a decently priced 1999 CBR FX and its in the red/blue/white colours. How easy would it be to change the paint to red/black? To be honest my knowledge of taking bikes apart is very limited, although my dad has a little experince and my neighbour is an avid biker. Would it be a simple job or way out of my league?

You have two choices - either you purchase a complete bodykit the colour of your choice or have the bike painted the colours of your choice. As a novice the first would take a good days work for you and a friend, the latter will mean your bike is off the road for some time unless you're very lucky. Neither will be cheap.
