How long does it take for insurance to register on the database?

My cover is said to have started yesterday at 13:30 but when I've just gone to tax the bike online, I can't. Says I'm not on the insurance database. Evil or Very Mad

Thought it was updated after 24 hours??? Confused

It might be quicker to go to the post office unless your miles away from one.

Dammit I'm showing on the database now, but will have to wait until 4pm ish to re-apply online thanks to their dodgy rules.

Fingers crossed my insurance certificate shows in the post tomorrow morning. Praying

Took almost 4 days for mine to update. Checked one morning and it was showing as insured, so i then went ahead and purchased online. One hour later the certificate came through the post Sad
