Nope, you will just be another tourist up there. When I went there were only a handfull of Scots and they were about 4 years from being dead. Was just lots of international tourists.

This is not good weather for the plod up the Ben, the heat will kill you even if the Jocks don't. Tower Ridge is a better route up than the tourist path if you have a head for heights.

Nope, neds don't go hillwalking. You'd get lynched if you walked through somewhere like Govan though, which you may well have to drive through if you're taking the route past Loch Lomond - so hope you don't have to stop...I'm actually not even joking either which is the sad thing.

If you're feeling you'd like to do a little more adventurous walk, then try walking the Aonach Eagach. It's up by geln coe, so not too far from nevis and it's usually a lot quieter (for good reason once you watch the vid!).

Am at the base of ben nevis in a tent. Gonna be up at 5 to start ascent up the tourist route. This is due to the fact we need to be down by 11 to start the trip to the lake district.

Yep, you guessed it. I am attempting the 3 peaks challenge. Lets hope we are successful.

I did it, however I cycled between them and it took us around 10 days or something. Going up Ben Nevis was like a motorway compared to Scar fell
