Basically me and a friend are thinking of making a road legal pit bike to f*ck about on why we have nothing to do as we have left school. So if i was to buy a frame how do i get a v5 etc etc all help appricated cheers.

It'll still need a V5 certificate to render it road legal. If there isn't one, then you have to register the VIN plate number with the DVLA.

Ask the seller if it has a V5, or if it's even got a VIN.

your probly better off getting an unfinished project for around £100

will come with alot more things, and if you want, you can take it all to bits down to just the frame and do what you like from there!

yea id do a project but tbh im struggerling to find any ive tried ofviously ive tried ebay and tbh i kinda had my heart set on a road legal pit but im open to a project by all mean! Thumbs Up

listen mate i know what im talking about....

buy a frame from a crash damaged previous road legal pit and save all the hassle of a member of the dvla comming round and sneering at your work and going on about safty,safty,safty.

then you can do what you like Thumbs Up

cheers ye ive been looking into this aswell and i finish school offically on the 11th so il start moving on it then. Their is a frame on ebay with a log book but the guy wants 250 quid for a standard frame so fuck am i paying that! I just need the frame then il make it fucking mean! btw +1 for the advice. Thumbs Up
