Followed a yamaha home today, it was on an 05 plate. I first thought it was a yzf r125 as it looked like an r6 at first glance. It sounded and smelt very much like a 2 stroke although I don't think it could have been fast enough for 2stroke 125.

So BCF what small (super) sports did/do yamaha produce?

over in lanzarote you get so many two stroke bikes compared to bigger bikes.

saw one zx10r and a few cruiser bikes, saw at least 5 or 6 derbi gpr's, a dozen or so tzr50's, scooters, aprillia 50,125 and a few 250's and a few nsr's

think there far more relaxed with emisions over there.

anyway the tzr50 looks pretty dam good for a crappy 50

think the fairings look nicer than the new r1...

Yep, I think it has the AM6 engine (same as RS50s), I could be mistaken though.

Yep, same am6 engine.

The new R125 uses the same forks, wheels and brakes iirc.
