Had a few very small off's in the ice, sub 5mph kind of thing, but this was a proper one.

Front tyre went on a roundabout, can't blame anybody but myself.

Injury wise, luckily my gear did its job, elbows a bit bashed up from the impact but not broken the skin, boots are a bit scratched but nothing major, my jeans are torn but I haven't got any marks on my legs so im not sure exactly how that happened.
My pillion on the other hand has a nasty bit of road rash on his knee, nothing too bad but his mum has specificly banned him from going on bikes so it may be a bit hard to explain Laughing

The bike damage is a little worse, both R/H indicators are a bit fucked, licence plate snapped off and the worst bit, put a whole in the coolant pump cover, I've told my boss I'm not going to be in tomorrow and I'm going to have my best shot at getting it road worthy again, not easy on a Sunday when everything is shut!

Anyway, at least the bike is fixable and nobody was seriously harmed Thumbs Up

I think he's just going to come up with some sort of alibi.

His mum would actualy kill him if she found out the truth, i'm not sure whats worse than being killed but she'd do that to me Laughing

Im home now anyway, left my bike at my mates house, were going to see what we can do tomorrow.

Did you leave your bike at your mates with the road rash. If so, it might be a little easier for his mum to work out what happened Rolling Eyes

ICE!!! Good God man, where do you live, Siberia. It's the hottest weekend of the year (which is a bit ironic if your bikes FUBAR'd). Sad

Anyway, hope things heal quick and it might be worthwhile wearing your lid when you next see his mum. Wink

Laughing Nooo a different mate,the_godfather off 'ere if it makes any difference.

Unfortunatly there wont be any blaming it on ice, diesel or fluffey kittehns in the road, this one was well and truely my fault. (well that and the fact that my front tyre is a bit knackered but that'l be my fault too)

Just a little update, just got in from my mates house and the bike is now back on the road, 99% complete just missing the front indicator lense.

And all for the price of £13.00 (for a new licence plate).

It took 7 and a bit hours but at least its sorted Thumbs Up

The advice I was given on my first off was 'learn from it, and keep riding'. Worked well for me Thumbs Up Very Happy
