Sell my current bike, and buy two or three bikes with the money, I'd get an offroad (Honda xr400), something for touring (a big road based trail bike, maybe a Honda Transalp), and something for the bike I'd use most (like a Honda rfv 400).
Bit of a Honda fan for some reason, the 400 seems like the right bike for off-roading to me, the Transalp because I know how reliable it is and in my eyes the right bike for starting out on touring. And the rfv because I know if I got a sports 600 I'd be continually worrying that I would lose my license. I get the most pleasure out of riding my bike when ragging the shit out of it, keeping it above 10000 rmp on a twisty road... if I did that on a sports 600 I think I'd end up going to fast everywhere. Although I have yet to have a go on a sports 600 so my views might change then....
Although I probably then wouldn't have enough money to insure, run and maintain the bikes. I'd also need some gear for off-roading. I look forward to having a job where I can spend my money on something like that. ____________________ Past: Honda x8rs, Honda City fly, Honda Hornet 250, Honda VFR750, Yamaha xt600e.

I'd assume that as it has to be spent on the bike that tools and gear would count? As I really don't have many tools and relying on being able to get my bike the 70 miles back to my Dads garage isn't a great one. I'd also get some new gear.
Then probably buy another bike with the left over money.. ____________________ Past: 55 Sym Jet, 91 ZZR250, 03 NSR125R. Present: 97 ER-5.

I'd buy another CG. then maybe another. And erm.... then maybe another.
Then i'd sell them for more than they are worth... and maybe buy another after.
Oyea id also pay for my test and the GPZ iv got waiting on me
Failing all of that, i'd pimp it up with hydraulics etc and look a right twat. |

Powdercoat wheels and frame, replace every single fucking bolt, washer and screw with corrosion resistant ones, respray the fairings, buy a new colour matched seat cowl (I broked my current ones fixings by dropping the seat when removing it ). And that's just the TT which is in fine condition as it is. I'd then spend about £100 buying materials to DIY the same to the GZ, sell it on and buy a cheaper, larger CC P.o.S commuter hack. ____________________ Current Bikes: Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (2020)

From then on, I and the bicycle feelings deeper. |
