I've always considered going through a KFC or Maccy D's drive through on the bike. What did they say?

I have done it a couple of times on my bike. First time on a moped was easier as you dont have to use your left hand. Second time on my 125 I forgot I'd need to use the clutch to set off. Way I managed it was to put drink resting in my opened jacket. And then hold the bag using my left hand while straining to hold the clutch at the same time. Done this a couple of times on the Hornet.

It is pretty pointless to be honest, because you have to sit on your bike and eat, which is pretty awkward (well for me at least) and then you're left with greasy fingers... and I didn't want my gloves smelling of McDonalds, so you have to go inside to wash your hands... I may as well have gone inside and eaten.

I always wanted to go through the drive through at McDonalds on the bike and I finally did it the other day. Granted I had someone on the back and I didn't actually want anything but we didn't have any trouble getting served and just shoved all the food in the bag my pillion had on.

I often thought about pretending to go through a drive like your in a car... so like crouching, pulling up put hand brake on, winding window down, ask her to repeat what she is saying well telling your passenger to turn the music down. then routing around in a pretend ash tray to get the money out saying you know there is a 2 pence in there.

But I bet they get it all the time and get pretty fed up with it. Embarassed

Before the chavs were chavs (mid to late 90's), they did that at Killingbeck Mcd's.

Was a sight as they were spaced as if they were in a car.

I once considered going through backwards in the Pontiac (left hand drive) but was concerned I might not have sufficient steering lock and visibility to get round it without resorting to multiple point turns on the tighter corners, it was a U shaped one, so gave it a miss.

Been through on my bike looooads of times.

The drivethru at most places is open later than the main resteraunt so you cant walk in so i have also walked through the drivethru. Also done it on a bicycle, and rollerblades. Went through once in all my bike gear pretending to be on my bike, got a strange look that time Thumbs Up

Next on the list is a pogo stick Thumbs Up

Not been through on a bike, though I have ordered whilst standing through the sunroof of a car.

Been at BK/KFC drive-thru plenty of times as a rear-seat car passenger, telling the driver what I want, for him or her to repeat it to the person taking the order. It's great just throwing random things in to the mix and watching them look (or sound) like a t*t as they blindly (or is that deafly) repeat what you say. Laughing

Hi

Used the drive though loads of times on a bike. At least thick shakes will stay in the pot even if they fall over in your bag on the way back.

All the best

I regularly use the drive thru near work for breakfast on the way in - never had a problem. Get a note ready beforehand and tuck into my glove. Change and food gets dumped straight into the panniers with no fucking about.

In and out in less than 3 minutes. Much like my sex life.
