This is a pretty stupid question....

I have seen so many videos, particularly on youtube, and they've all been onboard footage of bikes, going on a road trip or just whizzing down a straight to record the top speed.

I really want to do the same but have no idea how to record it, i've tried putting my phone in my helmet, wedged it in place, but it slips out every time and ends up recording the road (white line after white line)

If there are any tips from experienced bikers too, then it would be great Very Happy

Many thanks if there are any replies

Most people do it with a digital camera and a clamp, or lots of gaffa tape.

You will find that most use a real vodeo camera or a bullet cam attatched to either themselves or the bike with the correct mountings. i can only imagine that any video shot from a camera phone on a bike will be awful at best and pretty much unwatchable.

If you really want to get some footage then have a browse on ebay for a cheap bike cam kit. Thumbs Up

I taped my phone to my headlight once on my RX-S. It wasn't a bad video but the audio disappeared at anything over 10mph because of wind noise.

I take it all back thats really good quality. I'm obviously being left behind in the phone technology race with my old Nokia brick.

I put a nice splodge of blue tac on the front of my lid stuck the digicam to it and loads of sellotape round it and over the mic so it weren't to bad.

It's available in Cydia - jailbreak only I'm afraid.
