Imagine my surprise. She told me not to forget to vote tommorrow and how important it was to use my vote. Then a rather 'big brother' sounding male voice told me that this message had been from the Labour party.

Thanks Gordon, I shall be down there after work putting a big X in the box with BNP next to it, I hope you get the message, you useless un-elected, unwanted, scottish, closet gay cunt.

Why are people always getting hung up on this non elected bit ?
No Prime Minister is ever elected by the public, you vote for your local MP or party, he/she is the leader of that party. It's not a presidental election.

Well the current elections are to choose your local and European candidates. But when you vote for a general election you vote is usually cast because you favor the political views of the head of that party (who is eventually the voice of the party). In Labors case people voted for them because the wanted the Labor party with Tony Blare in 'control'.

To be honest I am not a big follower of politics, but this is the way I see it.
