I've never messed around witha carb before, never even had one out. so whilst i'm there might give it a good clean.
Anyone know what size the standard jet is in a '91 DR350s? |
just take a note of the set up now, befor you clean it etc...
to clean the carb properly you need to take all the screws out, jets etc..
aslong as your bikes pretty stock, with just the exhaust, upjetting a few sizes shouldnt make much differnce, and should be a case of unscrew the old one and put the one in, i dont think it will need 'that much' setup.
but carbs are pretty unpredicible in my book, i was reading all about them just a few days ago, there is somthing like 13,000,000 differnt combinations of jets, needles, sliders on a standard carb, and you need to spend alot of time and money setting a carb up perfectly. ____________________ Gilera SC 125 - Current |
