hello again im totaly confused Question Question Question Question Question Question
honda state in the manual (NSR125) that u shouldn't pass 5,000rpm for the first 600 miles yet my dealer said the engine should be run in by around 500 miles
peeps are saying that after 300 miles i can go up to 6k rpm and then 1,000 rpm every 100 miles Shocked Shocked
what do i do Question Question Question

i've kept it @ 5K i've done 350 miles now n pushed it to 6k for a min just to see what speed i got but i dunno what to do now

There's no need to take the numbers too literally mate...most "experts" actually say that the running process actually does more harm than good, but that's probably more for bigger bikes than the NSR...

...if you're happy with 5/6k, then stay at it for a little while longer...otherwise, don't get too worried if the needle strays a little now and again!

i'll got for 6k then for a while
i was just takin care cos i don't wana damage the engine or bugger it later on.... just another question:
is it ok for me to blast it to 6th (i.e. accelerate quickly through the gears (not goin over 5krpm) wen im in town n getin up2 speed on main roads?

Yeah doinin thats OK it won't do it any harm Once its run in though you'll do it more good to keep the revs up 2strokes make all there power high up the REV range !!
